August 26th ~ Three days and counting... please continue to comeback to this page throughout my trip to Nigeria. I will endeavor to update this current news page every few days with news about the trip, ministry opportunities, and the conference as a whole. Thanks in advance to all those who are a part of this journey through your finances, prayers, and encouragement. Stephanie

August 19th ~ My visa was approved; my passport is being sent back; my ticket has been purchased. I will be leaving August 29th and will arrive the next morning on the 30th, which is absolutely amazing since always before I have had an extra day of travel through Europe to reach Africa. My direct flight (to and from) will save me two days in travel. I will be returning close to midnight on the 10th. Thanks to everyone who has continued to give to make this ministry trip a reality and to all of you who have promised to pray for me until my return.

August 15th ~ My passport and visa should be collected today from the consulate in Atlanta! Yesterday I was poked a few times (Hep A and Yellow Fever) plus given my (4) typhoid pills to take over the next eight days. The only thing left vaccine wise is for me to start taking anti-malarial medication this coming week. Thanks for all of the help and the prayer support!!

Am still believing for all of the funds necessary so that all my expenses as well as my stateside regular expenditures will be covered while I am away. God is so very faithful....so I expect to be giving a praise report very soon. sapack

August 12th ~ I am in preparation mode for my ministry trip to Nigeria. I will be speaking at the CLASSIC '08 meeting at Latter Rain Assembly in Lagos, Nigeria.

*My visa application is currently at the Nigerian Consulate in Atlanta, GA. I should be getting a call within a few days as to when I should expect my passport to be returned, complete with visa!

*I will be getting my vaccines on Thursday the 14th. Not my favorite thing to be sure; however, all my vaccines were out of date, so there is a yellow fever shot with my name on it as well as a Hep A. I will also be taking typhoid medicine orally, followed by my anti-malarial medication before, during, and after.

*Please see the PRAYER NOTES page for further information and prayer needs for the trip.

July 25th ~ I have an awesome report to share!!!! I prayed over a prayer cloth last week during a healing service in Western Kentucky. A mother had come forward for her daughter who was pregnant but had been told that her baby was almost certainly dead in her womb. She had already lost two other children by miscarriage. We prayed, and she left.

I just received a call --- the mother has reported that her daughter went to the doctor... He told her that he was seeing a miracle. Not only was the baby alive.......but had also grown!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PTL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't Jesus wonderful!!!!!

February 11, 2008  The Lord is so very gracious! I had the opportunity to minister at my alma mater (Randolph-Macon Woman's College, now known as Randolph College) last Wednesday the 8th. I exhorted those in attendance that God has a plan for every single person on this earth. First, He desires to have a relationship with each of His creation. Second, He has thoughts and plans for each of us are for good, not evil. He desires to prosper, not harm us. He wants to give us hope and a future (an expected end). (Jeremiah 29:11). Everyone was very receptive!

I was then invited to be a part of the Thursday evening Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowsip meeting. The group had just begun a study on Ruth. What a joy to see students hungry for the Word of God.

The Alumnae Assoication Board meeting and my responsibilities surrounding my position took the majority of the rest of my time there on campus. However, I had the utmost pleasure in being able to attend a Gospel Extravaganza on Saturday evening that was sponsored by the Black Leaders Association as part of the month  long Black History Month celebration. The chapel was packed, and the sound of worship and praise filled the room and spilled out the doors. Tears spilled unchecked down my face as I saw (in person) an answer to the prayers that I had prayed the entire four years I was a student at RMWC -- to see the Lord magnified and praised in that place.  I will be forever grateful that I was able to see the fruit of my prayers. sapack

February 4, 2008  I will be starting off tomorrow afternoon on the first stage of a journey to Randolph College (Founded as Randolph-Macon Woman's College in 1891), my alma mater. On Wednesday the 8th at 12:40 PM, I will be standing before members of the student body for an hour -- as the Faith and Spirituality Series guest speaker. Please pray for me that my speech will be seasoned with salt -- that the words I speak will cause the students/faculty/staff who attend to become thirsty/thirstier for the Lord. I owe much to Randolph-Macon and the opportunities to become the woman I am -- what a privilege to be able to share the Word of God on campus as an alumna. Please see the following link:

2007 Christmas News

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

As we take the time to celebrate Christ, the Anointed One, this season, may we each remember that the true wonder of Christmas is found in this: that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Jesus came so that we might live a life abundant, for eternity. This is the Good News that Faith to Faith International preaches and teaches at every opportunity. It is a message of faith, a message of hope, and a message of love.

I pray that you have been nurtured, encouraged, and blessed by the ministry of Faith to Faith International during this past year of 2007. I know that I have been constantly amazed by God’s Hand in the growth of the ministry as each day, week, and month have passed. This year has not been without its challenges; however, I can honestly report that the Lord has been so very good to me personally and to the ministry as I have determined to seek His Will alone, no matter the cost.

We have received great reports from missionaries on the field, churches, and organizations who have benefited from the ministry of Faith to Faith International. What a privilege it has been to come alongside these men and women, helping them to achieve God’s plan for their lives and for their ministries! I fully expect that these testimonies will continue to come in.  Stephanie
